This virtual event launches Refugees from Nazi-Occupied Europe in British Overseas Territories, edited by Swen Steinberg and Anthony Grenville. This book is the first to cover forced emigration from Nazi-controlled Europe to the territories of the British Empire as a whole. The editors will introduce the event, and two contributors, Patick Farges and Jutta Vinzent, will speak about refugees in Canada and Kenya, respectively. Questions will follow.
